Recently, I have a wonderful blogger DramaticTeaLeaves who just nominated me for a Liebster Award. Before accepting it, I googled up what this award is. As I found in my research, “The Liebster Award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. Blogging is about building a community and it’s a great way to connect with other bloggers and help spread the word about newer bloggers/blogs.”
This award is quite amazing and intelligent. It’s a great way to recognize other bloggers. As a nominee, I will continue to pass this award along.
Here are the rules for receiving this award:
- Each nominee link back the person who nominated them.
- Answer 10 questions which are given to you by the nominator.
- Nominate 10 other bloggers for this award who have less than 200 followers.
- Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
- Let the nominees know that they have been nominated by going to their blog and notifying them.
Below is the questions from DramaticTeaLeaves
1. When you at yourself in the mirror, what do you think?
When I look in the mirror, I think of myself beautiful and confident. This allows me to start my day in a good mood. Confidence is very important in a person’s life. If I am able to be confident of myself, I can allow others around me to also shine and be confident too.
2. Would you rather be Elsa or Ana from Frozen. Why?
Whether Elsa or Ana, I feel both character have challenges and strengths. I enjoy the characteristic of the carefree Ana, and I also enjoy the cool and control Elsa. Both are very different yet very similar since they are sisters. I enjoy the ability of Elsa who is able to control ice, water, and snow. But I resonate most with Ana who is carefree and not afraid of an adventure and challenge. If I had a choice, I would choose to be Ana.
3. What kind of fairy tale evil queen would you be if you can be one?
I think I would be the worst kind and most evil one. Probably frost the whole world, control and enslave everyone. MUAHAHAH. Seriously, if only I am that controlling and obsessive but too bad, I don’t think I can bare to be that evil. I can’t bare to enslave people, because each of us is already our own enemy where we sometimes enslaves ourselves without even being aware of it.
4. If you were to confess your love to your love, how would you do it?
Ideally, I’m a women and I’m not sure if it is appropriate for me to confess my love. I’m already mid twenties and confessing my love would be out of my realm since I already pass that stage of my teenage years. But as an adult, if I was to confess my love, I’ll make sure I know he likes me too. After knowing that he likes me, I would move in to have a conversation and make sure we are both comfortable. Eventually, I’ll give him a peck on the cheek to show him how interest I am in him. Maybe, I’ll even kiss his lips and hopefully on that day, I would wear RED LIP STICK so that it shows on his cheek, lips and shirt. LOL.
5. If you were a second lead in an asian drama, and you know that the girl that you like, likes someone else more, what would you do?
So I am a female and if I like a girl, would that mean I am lesbian? Or maybe it’s a guy that I like instead of a girl, I would be able to apply it to my life. Alright, it’s a guy who I like but I am the second lead. I think as a second lead, I’ll just have to play the supporting character and help the guy follow his heart to find the main lead girl. I’ve played this role many times in my life, and it’s not hard to play. What I learn is that loving someone doesn’t necessary mean you have to be with them. It can also mean that I can love them from far away and they can still be happy with someone else. So I am always willing to let the person I love be happy.
6. What are the three most common phrases that you say on any given day (barring um, hello, goodbye, and thank you)
Good morning! How are you doing? That is wonderful.
7. If you were to chose a type of weapon to defend yourself with, what would it be?
I would choose my mind. Anything can be taken away from me, but my mind will always have the ability to come up with solutions and eventually I hope I can bring myself to have psychic abilities. Hehehehe.
8. When you’re sad, what do you do to make yourself feel better?
I watch a lot of Asian TV Dramas. These drama makes me think about life and my situation. Sometimes they inspire me to make better decisions instead of feeling hurt and sad.
9. What is the most wonderful, unexpected thing that’s ever happened to you and how did it change you?
There are many unexpected thing that has occurred in my life. I think one of the greatest changing factor was when I found out my sister will be moving to Atlanta, GA, while I was also planning to move down south. This allow us both to meet in Atlanta and help me change my life completely. I now live in Atlanta, GA where I love my life and job.
10. What makes you laugh until you cry?
This is a hard questions. I never really laugh until I cry and maybe if I did, I probably forgot. I feel everything in life is quite hilarious. Even myself, I am hilarious sometimes. Maybe life can be quite funny that it also makes me cry too. I hope that would count as one.
Ok now it’s my turn to ask questions:
1.) What is one of the hardest challenges that you had to face and how did you over come it?
2.) What does love mean to you?
3.) How would you confess your love to the person you love?
4.) If you could choose only 1 thing in the world, what would it be? (1 thing can be anything)
5.) If given a chance to return back in time when you were 16, what would you say to yourself?
6.) If given a chance to return back in time when you were 21, what would you say to yourself?
7.) What do you think is the key to success?
8.) What motivates you everyday?
9.) Would you sacrifice 1000 people’s lives to save 6 billion people on earth and why? (From Ender’s Game)
10.) How would you destroy the world if you can do it?
For the list above, I’ve gone in to read their blogs and feel they are wonderful writers and contributors to the world. I hope each of them can continue to impact the world through their writings.
